We had a snow day in Las Vegas! It was magical to see the big flakes come down for hours and actually stick to the ground. The kids sat by the phone waiting for the schools computerized system to call with the words "snow day--no school tomorrow!" Sure enough it came. They were so excited. The funny thing is that by morning all the snow was melted and they would have been fine to go to school. Weak!!!! Now they have to make up the day in March.
