Recently, I caught two boys from Aspen's class approaching our house in the middle of the afternoon with a Ding Dong in their hands. They had parked their bikes around the corner of our cul-de-sac and were running towards our house as I drove into the cul-de-sac. They got this "we've just been caught" look on their faces. I rolled down my window and said hello. They told me that they were about to "Ding Dong Ditch" an actual Ding Dong for Aspen. I just had to smile. I told them to go ahead. So...they ding donged and ditched the ding dong for Aspen. It made her day.Aspen had to get new glasses. She actually loves wearing them, so that is good!
