After a long busy day of tennis, play practice and lifeguarding, Starlee came home totally unaware that her house was full of some of her friends. We threw together a last minute surprise party for her 17th birthday. It was fun to surprise her, and it was a nice casual party. Afterwards we stayed up late and watched the conclusion of "So you Think You Can Dance!". I love my Star! What a treasure she is, and we feel so blessed to have her be a part of our family. How can it be 17 years since she was born? It makes me sad to see time fly so quickly, but it sure is fun watching her grow!

Amy - I know what you mean with the "How can it be 17 years" statement. We just took Grant to College...and I said to Wayne, "How did 18 years go by so fast?" I was logning for kindergarten on the drive home.
